#MousikesAgapis: "The Unplagued Concert" of 24MEDIA

The music solidarity challenge "The Unplagued Concert" of 24MEDIA in collaboration with Follow Me Now, was crowned with absolute success. The music challenge was broadcasted live on Thursday 30/4. In particular, hundreds of people offered money by supporting the Greek national health system and its social structures, raising a very significant amount. 

At the same time, 82.364 unique viewers watched the most important names in sports and some of the most important singers of our country, to join their voices in the fight against coronation, in a unique digital event.

Pantelis Vlachopoulos, the  Editorial Director of SPORT24, was the main presenter of the live show that was broadcasted in the specially designed site (mousikesagapis.gr) as well as in the sites of 24MEDIA (SPORT24, NEWS 24/7, LADYLIKE, ONEMAN, CONTRA, HUFFPOST), while Pantelis Diamantopoulos was the special guest.

The live show had also distinguished guests such as Lefteris Petrounias, Dimitra Galani, Katerina Stefanidi, Giorgos Dalaras, Kostas Fortounis, Giannis Bourousis, Stelios Dionysiou, Spyros Gianniotis, George Sampanis, Odysseas Ioannou, Christos Nikolopoulos, Panagiotis Fasoulas and Panagiotis Giannakis.

Regarding the offers, 24MEDIA started the donations by offering the amount of 10.000 euros. Then, Panagiotis and George Angelopoulos also offered 10.000 euros on behalf of KAE Olympiakos, while the owners of Ifaistos Limnou, Pantelis and Spyros Boubouras offered 5.000 euros. Last but not least, Stoiximan offered 20.000 euros.

All donations were made directly to the special account at the Bank of Greece of the Hellenic State with IBAN GR8901000230000002341216317.

24MEDIA warmly thanks all of you for the great response and support at the charity event "Mousikes Agapis: The Unplagued Concert". 2020 New Year Party for 24MEDIA

In a night full of good temper, music, awards, gifts and of course, the pie cutting, 24MEDIA officially celebrated New Year at the Grand Hyatt Athens hotel, on Monday 24th of February. The Parthenon Hall was decorated with the lights of the largest digital publisher and 24MEDIA employees exchanged wishes before continuing its dynamic journey the upcoming year.

Mr. Dimitris Maris, Owner and President of 24MEDIA and Maria Grapsa, CEO, attended the event as well as other members of the management team, close associates and the staff of the group.

Maria Grapsa welcomed with a polite greeting and stated that "I am pleased to be a member of the 24MEDIA family, and I am confident that this year, together, we will lead the company to even greater successes, with quality journalism, innovation, creativity and above all the coherence of our team.

During the event, the award ceremony took place by awarding the favorite journalistic article and radio show of NEWS 24/7, SPORT24, CONTRA, ONEMAN, LADYLIKE, HUFFPOST GREECE, Sport24 Radio 103.3fm and LEGEND 88.6fm. Following, 33 lucky winners were selected through prize draw and won unique gifts, including trips and a Scooter.

Voluntary blood donation for the 4rth year from 24MEDIA

24MEDIA in collaboration with “Evangelismos” General Hospital, organised for the fourth consecutive year, voluntary blood donation. The collection of blood units took place at 24MEDIA office by the specialized team of “Evangelismos” General Hospital and after the necessary measures for the blood donation process were secured. 

24MEDIA employees responsiveness was extremely high, showing their social awareness. In total, 90 units of blood have been collected for transfusion in patients in need.

Panos Velachoutakos, HR Manager of 24MEDIA stated: “Once again the employees of the 24MEDIA Group have shown their interest in the company's CSR actions. The response to the 4th blood donation in our offices in collaboration with Evangelismos Hospital gives us joy and hope and motivates to continue with even more similar actions".

Another creative year at House Twenty Four

House Twenty Four, 24MEDIA’s largest phygital project, celebrates two years of operation.

The new year brings the third year of the operation of the House Twenty Four, the highly successful 24MEDIA project, which introduced the concept of physical experience to the digital publishing market, offering unique experiences for both co-branded and real-estate brands. 

In 2019, House Twenty Four welcomed 72 brands, created 49 videos, 53 photoshootings and organised 18 events. Giving these brands the physical aspect they needed in their communication and the "home" environment that their display needed. Food, cosmetics, electrical appliances, furniture, clothes, services and accessories have found their place in a real home for another year, just as they claim a place in our readers' homes.

Maria Grapsa new CEO of 24MEDIA

In the context of the continuous development of 24MEDIA’s digital, radio and printed media, Maria Grapsa a distinguished and experienced executive in the Greek media industry, will be taking on the position of CEO of our organization.

During her 28-year career, Maria Grapsa has held positions of responsibility in several media groups (Hachette Rizzoli, Terzopoulos, Eleftherotypia, Attica Publications), and from 2000 to 2011 held the position of CEO of ΙΜΑΚΟ’s media portfolio and Vice President with responsibility for the development of foreign subsidiaries companies and relationships with international partners (Time Inc., Hearst, BBC publications, Dennis Publishing, etc.).

From 2012 to 2018 she served as CEO of Olive Media (InStyle, People, Fortune) and until last year she was Managing Director of MSCOMM Group, a communications, public relations and public affairs company.

Founder and Chairman of 24MEDIA, Mr. Dimitris Maris noted “we welcome Maria Grapsa to the 24MEDIA family.
