We have a vacancy for a motivated and eager to learn Frontend Web Developer with 2 years working experience in the field, to join our expanding development team in a challenging and creative working environment. Primarily, you will be responsible for HTML, Javascript and CSS development within a cross functional team. He/she will be working closely with the editors, designers, and back-end developers to deliver pixel perfect cross-platform websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing high quality HTML, Javascript and CSS code
- Maintain a clean and well structured code
- Working in an Agile environment and contributing to the overall function of the team
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
The following skills and experience are required:
- HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3
- JavaScript, AJAX, JSON
- JQuery / JQuery mobile
- Bootstrap
- Knowledge in implementation of Responsive Web Design principles
- Cross browsing development and testing (Firefox, Chrome / Safari, IE / Edge)
- Familiarity with
- Content Management Systems (e.g. Wordpress, Joomla) and the related workflows
- Photoshop / Illustrator
- Backbone, Google Closure
- Version control tools (pref. Git)
- SEO techniques
- Foundation / Skeleton or similar responsive HTML5 frameworks
Additional skillset considered a plus:
- Knowledge of server-side processes (pref. Java or PHP)
- Knowledge of CSS Preprocessors (Sass, LESS)
- Experience with JS workflow management tools (Gulp/Grunt)
- Experience with JavaScript Frameworks (AngularJS, Ember, ReactJS)
- Google technologies (Analytics, Tag Manager and Webmaster Tools)
- Ad Serving technologies (DFP, Adtech)
- Experience in developing social integrations using Facebook OpenGraph, Twitter Cards or Instagram platforms
