We have a vacancy for a motivated and eager to learn Frontend Web Developer with 2 years working experience in the field, to join our expanding development team in a challenging and creative working environment. Primarily, you will be responsible for HTML, Javascript and CSS development within a cross functional team as well as promoting front end development best practices to the wider development team. He will be working closely with the editors, designers, and back-end developers to deliver pixel perfect websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing high quality HTML, Javascript and CSS code
- Working in an Agile environment and contributing to the overall function of the team
- Maintain a clean and well structured code
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
The following skills and experience are required:
- HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3
- JavaScript, AJAX, JSON
- JQuery / JQuery mobile
- Bootstrap
- Responsive Web Design principles
- Cross browsing development (Firefox, Chrome / Safari, IE / Edge)
- Familiarity with
- Content Management Systems and the related workflows
- Photoshop / Illustrator
- Backbone, Google Closure
Additional skillset considered a plus:
- Knowledge of server-side processes (pref. Java)
- Version control tools (pref. Git)
- SEO
- Google technologies (Analytics, Tag Manager and Webmaster Tools)
- Ad Serving technologies (DFP, Adtech)
- Foundation / Skeleton or similar responsive HTML5 frameworks
- Wordpress / Joomla
